Despite clinching the three points, plenty of Spurs fans were in a negative mood about the performance of one player in particular – Dele Alli.

This was backed up by another who claimed the Englishman is getting more “expendable” by the day.
Alli lasted 83 minutes on the pitch before he was substituted, after his dire 5.5 rating by SofaScore for missing four big chances and managing just 72% passing accuracy.
Supporters were clearly thrilled with the decision to bring him off, even if it appeared to be too late…
The long-running joke that his brother has been playing was again stated by a further member of the Spurs faithful whilst he was also brandished as “useless.”
There were also several comparisons made as one fan claimed he was longing for Vincent Janssen after the number of chances Alli squandered against Villa.
A couple of others believed Eric Dier was somehow better than Alli too.
