The German striker's contract runs until 2028 and includes no release clause, giving Stuttgart complete control over his future. They see him as a vital part of their project for the 2025-26 season after a breakout year in which he netted 17 goals. But Bayern, who are in search of long-term attacking options, view Woltemade as a priority signing and have already reached an agreement with the player.
WHAT WOHLGEMUTH SAID?
Stuttgart sporting director Wohlgemuth insisted that, while things can change, the expectation is for Woltemade to stay: “It is absolutely the most likely scenario that Nick will wear our colors in the 2025-26 season. He is still a Stuttgart player, and we assume that nothing will change in that regard for the coming year.”
